Is this credit builder card good for beginners?

I’m trying to help my nephew get his credit score off the ground, but he keeps getting turned down for the major rewards cards because his history is too thin. I saw an offer for a card specifically for people with "less than perfect" scores, but I’m worried about the annual fees and the interest rates. Does anyone know if these entry-level cards actually report consistently to all three bureaus?

Starting from scratch with your credit is tough, but a dedicated starter card is usually a better move than just waiting for things to change on their own. I was looking at the application process for him and read a few indigo card reviews to see how the pre-qualification step works without affecting your score. It’s a solid way to establish a payment history as long as you pay the balance in full every month and stay under the credit limit to avoid those extra fees.
