Naloxone by Mail
MoNetwork is proud to partner with NEXT Harm Reduction to provide free mail-based naloxone to Missouri residents who may not be able to access services in person.
Naloxone is a safe, life-saving medication which can reverse an opioid overdose. Through our partnership with NEXT, eligible Missouri residents can complete a brief training and request naloxone online. Once your request is submitted, MoNetwork will mail naloxone directly to you in a plain, discreet package.
Mail-based naloxone services are designed to increase access for individuals living in rural communities, those with transportation barriers, people who prefer additional privacy, and anyone unable to visit a distribution site in person.
To receive naloxone by mail, you will:
Once approved, your naloxone will be shipped directly to you by MoNetwork.
Privacy Matters
The request process is managed through our partner, NEXT Harm Reduction. Because NEXT operates as a community-based distribution program and does not interact with health insurance providers, the enrollment form is not HIPAA-compliant. Participants are not asked to provide protected health information (PHI), and both organizations take privacy and data security seriously.
Overdose prevention is about more than naloxone alone. We encourage everyone to learn about overdose recognition, rescue breathing, the recovery position, overdose response, and aftercare. Educational resources are available through NEXT as part of the enrollment process.
